Dan Jackson, Entertainer, earned his music degree in Nashville, Tennessee where he studied with the influential arranger / band leader Patrick McGuffey (Nashville Brass & Johnny Cash television show). He has recorded with jazz pianist / arranger Dave Beaudin (pianist for Judy Garland, and Lou Rawls). Dan has performed throughout the country as a solo artist, band leader, and in professional groups with well-known regional and national talents.  Dan is a member of the American Federation of Musicians and served as a director on the board of the Lexington Jazz Arts Foundation. Also in Lexington, Dan has been the Entertainment Director for baseball's Lexington Legends. Dan played three years with the Dave Goldflies Band (former Allman Brothers bassist) and has played on the same program with The Neville Brothers, The Spinners, Eddie Floyd, and Neal Sedaka.  He has toured with Mac Rice  (Mustang Sally), and has played in a traditional blues band on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
